JobKorea, a Seoul-based online job portal, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Hirediversity, an administrative service provider for international students in Korea. The partnership aims to streamline the administration process for foreign nationals interested in working in Korea by leveraging Hirediversity’s expertise in immigration administration support and data management.

The alliance will provide administrative assistance and personalized recruitment information to facilitate the job search and immigration procedure. JobKorea recently launched a separate job search app for foreign national residents, Klik, which stands for “kick-start life in Korea.” This new initiative will help connect foreign job seekers with Korean companies.

Speaking on the partnership, Chris Heo, head of the future business division at JobKorea, said:

We will strive to take the lead in resolving job mismatch by addressing the employment challenges foreign job seekers face. Our continuous collaboration with related industries and organizations is grounded in our commitment to social responsibility and empathy.

Hirediversity’s flagship service, the Hire Visa app, provides a range of services, including rapid issuance of one’s residence card, housing rental deposit protection, and accounts for receiving Korean Won. According to the startup, these services aim to smooth the transition and administrative burden for people trying to find jobs in Korea from overseas. It also has a partnership with 110 colleges nationwide.

JobKorea operates the recruiting marketplace JobKorea.co.kr, the part-time employment site Albamon.com, and GameJob.co.kr, a speciality job board focused on the gaming sector. It claims to have over 2.5 million corporate and 10 million individual members. The number of job openings on any given day surpasses 100,000, with an average of 330,000. With over 10,000 jobs, the platform has the most job listings among domestic internet job sites.

This collaborative effort aims to provide more comprehensive services, from visa administration to job recruitment, to international students and foreign job seekers in Korea.
