Physics Wallah (PW), an Indian EdTech platform, has expanded its offline presence by opening Vidyapeeth and Pathshala centres in many new cities, including significant places such as Dibrugarh, Chennai, and Udaipur, for the current academic year (AY) 2025–26. The company currently operates over 150 Vidyapeeth and Pathshala centres throughout 20 states in India. Approximately ten centres also provide the Vidyapeeth Residential Programme (VPRP). Chennai marks the platform’s first offline presence in Tamil Nadu.

The Vidyapeeth Residential Programme (VPRP) is designed for JEE/NEET aspirants seeking a learning experience with residential support. It provides a structured and academically stimulating environment, allowing students to dedicate themselves fully to their academic objectives. By offering consistent faculty for both online and offline classes, VPRP aims to ensure a smooth learning experience and minimize the challenges typically associated with switching between formats.

Alakh Pandey, Founder & CEO of Physics Wallah (PW), spoke at an annual event in Kota – Disha 2025 – in the presence of students:

As educators, it breaks our hearts to see students take drastic measures when they lose hope. We want to be their hope. Today, I appeal to you all – to join us in our effort to avert tragedies. Use our 24×7 country-wide free helpline – Prerna, and seek support whenever you feel stressed or overwhelmed. Furthermore, he announced a 30 per cent off for the coming academic year 2025-26 across all offline batches till 20th January 2025.

Students who previously studied at PW and earned places at government colleges such as IIT and AIIMS also attended the ceremony. They were congratulated and urged to share their experiences with current students.

Physics Wallah, headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was founded by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari in 2020 to democratize education through online, offline, and hybrid platforms. The platform, which began as a YouTube channel in 2014, educates students through several vernacular languages. It also seeks to build a hybrid education environment by developing tech-enabled offline and hybrid city centres nationwide. PW’s educational options include test preparation in many categories, a skill-building vertical, higher education, and study abroad. The company also operates an Institute of Innovation (IOI), which offers residential job-ready programmes. PW has received money from investors such as Hornbill Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Westbridge, and GSV Ventures.
