These unique profiles are read by RFID reading machines placed in the doorway of all school vehicles. One sad incident in the Middle East reminded the importance of these systems. A 3 year old was left forgotten in a hot, baking vehicle. It happened in Ras Al Khaimah, where the temperature rose up to 43 degrees Celsius. The temperature inside the vehicle was close to 55 degrees Celsius. This incident was reported by gulfnews on 9th June.
Similar issues are faced by parents living in cold conditions as they have to keep waiting in the chilly outdoors for their children to arrive. That changes with real-time movement being available on their smart phones.
