Here are two student scholarships you must be aware of.
1. LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship-2015
Life Insurance Corporation of India have come up with a scheme to award scholarship to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker families so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education and thus enhance their employability.
For applying this scholarship a student have to complete his/her class 12 examination with more than 60% marks and who are interested in Vocational courses (ITI), Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses. The student family income must not exceed Rs 1,00,000 per year.
LIC will be giving an amount of 10,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected candidate which is payable in ten monthly installments of ` 1,000/- each.
Student have to apply online. Once online application is submitted, the candidate will get acknowledgement at the email ID provided by him in his online application. Further correspondence will be made by the Divisional Office which is mentioned in the acknowledgement mail. The Last date to apply for the same is 23rd September 2015.

2. National Overseas Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2015.
Disable student of are called as special kids in India and every year many new plan and proposals are being brought up by the government so that they could also keep a pace with the society. This year also government have come up with some schemes which will help these kids to study further.
This Year Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoI is inviting applications from Students with Disabilities. Financial assistance will be provided for pursuing studies abroad at the level of Masters’ Degree and Ph.D in the field of engineering, management & pure sciences, applied sciences, agricultural sciences, medicine, commerce, accounting, humanities, social science & fine arts.
For applying in this scholarship students have to be below the age of 35 years with 55% marks in Graduation/Masters degree can apply. The student parental income should not be more than 6lakhs.
In this scholarship students will get annual maintenance allowance worth 9900 pounds for UK, & US$15,400 for other countries in addition to this Tuition fees, Air travel, Contingency , Visa Fees, Travel will also be paid by the government.
