A leading B-school in India, Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), has announced that it plans to provide eight professional courses for professionals and students from seven different countries, both online and offline. These courses aim to deliver teaching and learning that supports CII qualifications offline and online, Accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute—Accredited Professional Development Centre (CII APDC) (Conditional Status).
With the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) assistance and coordination, BIMTECH will provide training to prepare aspiring students and professionals in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar. Professional insurance courses such as M05: Insurance Law, 530: Economics and Business, 820: Advanced Claims, M97: Reinsurance, 992: Risk Management in Insurance, 995: Strategic Underwriting, and 996: Strategic Claims Management are available.
Two areas are the main emphasis of the courses offered by the CII APDC.
- Quality through hands-on assessment of teaching. Current instructional resources and learning assistance, and appropriate teaching spaces
- Professionalism is fostered by reliable and knowledgeable instructors, robust administration frameworks, and student assistance programmes; the centre will be the hub for enthusiasts hoping to forge prosperous careers in the insurance industry. Completing this benchmarking to the APDC accreditation standards can signify to prospective students and professionals that BIMTECH has achieved and maintains an internationally recognized high standard in its education and training provision.
On March 29, 2024, BIMTECH established a centre at its Greater Noida location to provide online and offline professional courses. Sakate Khaitan, Senior Partner at Khaitan Legal Associates, was there to inaugurate the centre.
