Firstly, eBooks made it easier for them to carry their libraries with them and now with audio eBooks you can just listen them anywhere. Audio eBook is just amazing. Tired eyes can’t stop you from moving on to the next chapter of that amazing book you are stuck to. You can get your eBooks over Internet but the web is so vast and all the searching can be a little hard and time consuming. So to save your time here is a list of 5 websites from where you can get free audio eBooks. Check it out! 

1) Lit2Go

The free collection of online stories and poems offered by this site can be accessed in mp3 format. Also, the text content is available for the convenience. An abstract, citation, playing time and word count are given for each of the passages. The passages available can also be downloaded in the form of PDF files that can be later used as read along or supplement reading material for the classroom. The site is user friendly and gives you a feel of library. Typewriter fonts and illustrations make it a pleasure to get lost in the world of knowledge. The books are organized properly by grade level. Also you can browse the collection of a particular author or by particular genres you are interested in.

The plus point of the site is the feel and the interface that won’t let you leave the page any sooner!   

2) LibriVox

Get access to audio books and you never know you may end up listening the voice of your neighbor next door! The audio books from this site can be enjoyed by anyone around the globe. The books are recorded by LibriVox volunteers. They record chapters of books in the public domain, and then they release the audio files back onto the net for free. All their audio is in the public domain, so you may use it for whatever purpose you wish. User can browse books based on author, title, genre, subject or language.

And all those who wish to contribute their part for this amazing platform they can volunteer for LibriVox.  The process is easy and does not require any experience with recording or audio engineering or acting or public speaking. All you need is a computer, a microphone, some free recording software, and your own voice. They accept all volunteers in all languages, with all kinds of accents. You’re welcome to volunteer to read any language you speak, as long as you can make yourself understood in it. They operate almost exclusively through Internet communications on their forum, where their friendly community will answer all your questions.

This is for all the bookworms and the knowledge seekers. If you are one of those who thrive on books then this is the right place for you.
