Founded by Piyush Bhartiya and Rachit Agrawal in 2016, AdmitKard provides a course-to-career solution for students who are looking for cross-border admissions in various universities and colleges from around the world.

The startup connects students aspiring to study abroad with the students already studying in universities overseas through its platform. It uses the concept of near-peer mentoring and technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning to assist students in decision making.

AdmitKard aspires to make global education accessible to every student through the application of digital data and analytics, so that the study abroad admission process becomes fun and hassle free. Believing that each student deserves an opportunity for a great career, the startup works towards building a future where the students are at comfort and ease while taking decisions related to higher education in a different country.

Speaking about the company and its platform, AdmitKard’s co-founder Rachit Agrawal said,

“AdmitKard is a data enabled social platform which helps in eliminating information asymmetry and building trust among aspirants. It is a socially active platform by the students and for the students. Current students are passionate to guide aspirants on AdmitKard as they feel they were misguided when they were applying to study abroad.”

Currently, AdmitKard helps students apply to 1000+ universities, 50000+ courses, and 2000+ scholarships through its platform. The startup has also partnered with multiple service providers ranging from test prep, student accommodation, education loans, banking, forex, etc, making it a complete solution for every student seeking to study in foreign universities. AdmitKard has also made its service available on mobile. Students can download the app and connect with mentors abroad easily.

Dheeraj Bhatia, who led the round from India, also commented saying,

“Student experience for college admissions both for India and international and allied services are broken and underserved. The AdmitKard approach of product and network is the key to solve the scalability issue of this domain, and will enable us to serve students from around the world.”

Meanwhile, AdmitKard’s Co-founder Piyush Bhartiya said that the company will use the latest raised capital to enhance the product, strengthen its AI-driven counselling algorithms, and blockchain managed partner contracts. He added that the startup also plans to rapidly expand its presence across 100+ cities in India through its already thriving partner network.
