An exit ticket is a device that students use to communicate with their teacher as to how their learning is going for them and this online tool is an engaging student response system delivering instant feedback and performance metrics to teachers and students, allowing immediate intervention and reteaching with a tap of a finger, while tracking the student’s progress. Students can view instant assessment scores and overall performance over time, all aligned to Common Core. The system supports BYOD or 1:1 teaching techniques. ExitTicket revolves around teachers creating and assigning “Tickets,” which are just series of questions. First, teachers choose which type of “ticket” they want to create that can be in the form of poll, practice exit, quiz or exam, and then they add the name and update the characteristics (time allotted, assignment date, etc.) for that particular “ticket.” Teachers can also align tickets to learning targets or specific standards. Then they add the specific questions, choosing from multiple choice, free-response or true/false. Once completed, teachers can send out that “ticket,” and students can immediately begin answering the questions. Teachers can track student and class performance in real-time.

This amazing tool can be accessed over web, iOS or Android.

Teachers can create groups for class discussions, posting assignments and other daily activities of the class. It has been awarded as the 2013 EdTech digest award for the best product. A new Edmodo app for parent has also been designed.

A free online non-commercial resources for teachers and students, there are built in quizzes for math, science, language arts, and social studies, which are adjustable in both difficulty and length. The interface has not been limited by the pre-built and allows educators to make their own tests covering any subject and set of questions. It allows for multiple languages.

Build, Play and Share an unlimited number of quizzes and questions for free. Great for teachers and students. Including, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, matching question and more. Include images and a time limited for questions and review scores achieved by students. Also has Apple, Android and Windows Apps.

38. ProProfs

Its free version offers unlimited quizzes, questions & quizzes takers. The paid version offers student tracking, privacy settings, and others.

39. GoToQuiz

It’s a very simple site for creating a quiz that generates a unique URL for others to take.

40. Quizalize

You can make fun games on any topic, to play in class or as homework with Quizalize. The tool has become very popular in British and Australian schools. You may try the same, as the signup is free.
