It not only helps one to expand the horizons of knowledge but also improves communication skills, writing capabilities, creative thinking and a lot more!

One skill refining and providing for many other skills deserves specialized content but availability of such content is rare due to the negligence toward this one life skill.

We can see a lot of people learning online in their comforts and there is one such online platform that can help you work on this essential aspect online.

ReadWorks offers free, research-based, classroom-proven lessons and online training to help K-6 teachers explicitly teach the component skills and strategies of reading comprehension, while also supporting the much needed development of background knowledge and vocabulary.

This non-profit platform is committed to solve the nation’s reading comprehension crisis by giving teachers the research-proven tools and support they need to improve the academic achievement of their students.

ReadWorks provides research-based units, lessons, and authentic, leveled non-fiction and literary passages directly to educators online, for free that can be shared broadly. Most importantly, it is faithful to the most effective research-proven instructional practices in reading comprehension.

ReadWorks is based on the highest quality research, beginning with the seminal findings of the National Reading Panel (NRP) and RAND Reading Study Group, and continuing with the most highly regarded, current, research evidence.

Complementing the written research, they have developed it by working with some of the best researchers and practitioners in the country, in addition to teachers and principals in classrooms across the nation.
