Schoolnet India empowers millions of students, teachers and youth across and outside with life-improving capabilities. Over two decades, it has emerged as a total value chain and end-to-end service provider, working with an outcome-focused delivery of services and creating scale-based impact. Through its time-tested solutions, the company aims to contribute to the efforts towards providing better education opportunities for children in schools. It impacts all significant stakeholders in the education ecosystem by helping improve teaching and learning efficiency and bringing about a positive change in conventional thinking and approach to education.

Highlighting the strategic fit and synergy between the two companies, RCM Reddy, Managing Director and CEO of Schoolnet India, Managing Director and CEO of Schoolnet India, said:

One of the reasons we looked at Advitiya apart from his infectious energy, enthusiasm, and the value that he’ll bring in, is GeniusTeacher has a very high-quality next-generation technology capital solution. Above all, their vision aligns with our vision of impacting at scale and being outcome-centric. We were trying to build our AI-based solutions, but we realised that GeniusTeacher has an excellent solution, and therefore, why reinvent the wheel?”

The acquisition is a significant step towards Schoolnet’s vision of leveraging next-generation technology to significantly enhance educational outcomes.

Advitiya Sharma, Founder and CEO of GeniusTeacher, added:

With Schoolnet’s scale and network, combined with our strong product offering, we can scale GeniusTeacher to around 10,000 private schools in the next few years.

Co-founded in 2016 by Advitiya Sharma, Shashank Pachore, Gaurav Lahoti, and Ruturaj Atre, GeniusTeacher focuses on the K12 segment and creates personalised, interest-based, engaging content to enhance students’ learning experience. It uses strong interests like food, movies, sports, nature, and more to make learning maths, science, and English more enjoyable. The company currently has around 2.5 million active students, with about 10% being paid users across 800 private schools. Headquartered in Mumbai, the firm supports over 10+ curriculums.
